Alone in the Dark Walkthrough Introduction

This guide is a detailed look at the Xbox 360 title Alone in the Dark. You will find general gameplay tips, a step-by-step walkthrough of each level and achievement information / advice contained in the guide.

General Gameplay Tips

On Foot

  1. To activate and deactivate healing mode, click left or right on the directional pad. To cycle through the cuts on Edward's body, use the left thumbstick. Medical spray or bandages are activated with RT.
  2. Running is controlled by the A button. Edward has trouble running when his body is covered in cuts. He will limp a bit and often have to stop for breath. Heal up to run constantly.
  3. Jumping is controlled by the X button. Edward can jump up to grab ledges and leap to grab ropes.
  4. Tapping LB and RB will cycle through the items that Edward can hold in each hand. The right is usually reserved for weapons and the left for bottles or spray cans.
  5. Press Y to switch between first person and third person mode. Edward can often spot important items by switching between camera angles.
  6. Click the left thumbstick to spin Edward 180 degrees quickly. This comes in handy when fleeing a fight.
  7. Click the right thumbstick to cause Edward to blink; holding it down will shut the eyes. Creatures often spit at Edward covering him in poison or some type of goo and blinking rapidly will clear the eyes.
  8. A often acts as a general action button. It will be used to pick up items, open doors, start cars, grab ropes, escape quick action moments, etc...
  9. The gun can be fired by clicking RT and reloaded with B. The target reticle automatically hones in on small objects and creatures, but requires manually aiming for large creatures.
  10. After picking up a melee object with A, use the right thumbstick to manually swing the object around. LT allows Edward to lock onto an enemy in this mode. Try to ready a swing before approaching any enemies.
  11. Throwing bottles and other explodable items requires aiming by holding down LT and hitting RT to throw. Edward will automatically lock onto the thrown object with his gun and can fire at any time for an explosion.
  12. Edward has a limited amount of time to throw a lit object, like a Molotov cocktail, before it explodes in his hand. Try to be out of enemy reach when aiming with a lit object.

Driving

  1. Abandoned cars are littered throughout the game. Check the radar in the right corner of the screen for green car icons. They represent working automobiles.
  2. Edward has the ability to get into the car from any door and move around the seats once inside. Locked cars will need to have a window smashed for access.
  3. Once in the driver's seat, Edward can honk the horn, check the overhead visor for a key, switch on the ceiling light, flip the headlights or hot wire the car. (Press A for each action)
  4. Hot wiring the car brings up a small mini-game that requires the correct wires to be connected. Wires can by cycled and connected with the thumbsticks. Starting the car is performed by hitting RT at the right time.
  5. Similar cars all have the same hot wiring procedure. Every cop car will use the same set of wires that started the last. The same goes for taxis and certain civilian cars.
  6. RT accelerates the car, LT brakes and reverses the car, Y changes the car view and X or B allows Edward to bail from a moving car.
  7. On the passenger side, the glove boxes always contain something useful; ammo, tape, booze, health spray, bandages, etc...
  8. Cars can also be used as an explosive item. Use the gun to aim at the car and the target reticle will hone onto the gas tank. A couple shots will send the car flying skyward.
  9. The gas tank can also be stabbed with a knife or screwdriver to allow gas to leak. Leaking gas can be caught in an empty bottle to create a homemade bomb.
  10. Enemies that leap onto a moving car can be removed by ramming an object or simply driving at high speeds. Try to hit enemies in the road to avoid any chance of a jump.

PDA

  1. After a certain point in the game, a PDA will become available. The PDA can be accessed on foot or while driving by hitting the select button.
  2. The PDA offers five functions: Phone, Contact list, Global positioning, Messages and an options menu. These can be cycled through with the left thumbstick.
  3. The free dial section allows Edward to call any number, but it's actually only used one time during the game. Access contacts to quick dial people programmed into the phone.
  4. Messages contain a vast quantity of useful information. Besides helpful messages from friends, there's a section for tips about controls and inventory selection.
  5. The GPS is the most useful function of the device and should be used frequently when lost or trying to find the next checkpoint. There is no way to set route markers on the screen, so Edward will have to navigate manually.

Inventory

  1. Pressing down on the directional pad activates the inventory. Edward will often need a couple seconds after being hit to access the inventory.
  2. Holding up on the directional pad activates Edward's favorite weapon combos. These can be assigned in the inventory menu.
  3. Edward can navigate the inventory with either the directional pad or the right thumbstick. The pad allows for slowly objects one at a time and the stick offers a faster access by quickly rotating the cursor over objects.
  4. Edward has a limited number of pockets for carrying inventory items. The pockets on the left carry small items like batteries and ammo. The pockets on the right carry larger items like bottles and spray cans.
  5. Tape is very useful for combining objects. Use the tape on explosive items to combine them with ammo boxes for extra firepower. At some point, find a quiet corner and spend time trying to combine objects into a variety of forms. Also use tape to provide a sticky surface for objects that are thrown.
  6. Any locker or cabinet will automatically replenish an item if it's not in your inventory. For instance, take a box of ammo from a locker and drop it on the floor. Reopen the locker for another box of ammo and pick up the box on the floor. Rinse, repeat.
  7. The gun can be manually reloaded from the inventory screen. It can also be combined with alcohol to create bullets coated in a stream of fire, or "fire bullets." These are vitally important late in the game.
  8. The flashlight doesn't require a battery change very often and batteries are in heavy supply throughout the game. Try going without a supply of batteries for a level to free up a pocket for another crucial item.
  9. Explosive fluid can be combined to fill up a bottle to the maximum explosive level. Bottles of booze that are discarded in the trash are often only half full and benefit from this process.

Blackout

Wake Up

CUTSCENE: (Interactive) Two mysterious men are talking about something called The Path of Light. They approach the main character to check his life signs.
NOTE: If you avoid looking at the men, they will shoot you and the scene will reload. Move the Right Thumbstick to look at the light and click it to blink. The men start talking again and decide to end your life.

  1. Follow the instructions of the pushy man behind you.
  2. TIP: Keep blinking to clear the screen of fuzziness. As you head up the stairs, unseen forces will take care of your would-be hit man.
  3. Follow the utility tunnel past the loose electric wire to get a look of yourself in the mirror.
  4. NOTE: The game now switches to third person view. Switch back to first person by clicking Y.

Vertigo

  1. Walk to the top of the elevator and watch the scene. CUTSCENE: A man named Paddington is being tortured to release information about a magical stone. The elevator gets attacked by dark forces and sucks a guy out through the elevator floor. Edward leaps to the metal grate as the elevator plummets.
  2. TIP: If you drop off the narrow grate walkway, just hit X to climb back up.
  3. Follow the grate around the shaft to release a rope from an emergency area. Edward will be able to rappel down via the A button and control his rate of descent with the X button. Avoid the obstacles like moving fans and electrical wire on the way down by hitting the X button.
  4. Move left and right on the rope to swing the electrical box to the left. Once the wire catches on the metal refuse, head down again. After the elevator door explodes, climb above it and rappel in.

Fire Escape

  1. Hang a right into the closed door and talk with the frightened female in red. Pass through the open doorway and circle to the left to find a burning support beam. Grab the fire extinguisher by pressing A and fire the nozzle by holding Right Trigger.
  2. Use the extinguisher to smash open the locked door and immediately start spraying to clear the path to the right. As Edward progresses down the hallway, be sure to put out fires that spring back into action behind you.
  3. Drop the extinguisher to leap over the fire-pit. Walk to the dead cop on the right to grab his sidearm and turn around to shoot the door lock. Be quick as the fire is creeping up behind Edward.
  4. Search the dressers in the room to find medical spray, double sided tape and some batteries. Healing mode can be entered via the left or right directional pad. Use the spray to heal any wounds when prompted.
  5. As the building collapses, move into the second room and be ready for a quick action event. Hit the A button to avoid death and when preparing to land.

Don't Look Down

  1. Use the rope to swing to safety and hit the jump button when prompted to leap onto the ledge. As the ledge crumbles, move Edward to the right to avoid death and be prepared dodge a skyrocketing, exploded car.
  2. After climbing up, jump to the next ledge. Hide under the gargoyles to avoid death by falling, burning debris. Move all the way to the left and drop to the ledge below. Use the fallen power line to swing across to another small ledge on the left.
  3. Grab the building ledge above and slide across as quickly as possible when that piece of the building starts to fall off. Once inside, leap to grab the cable when prompted and snatch up the fire extinguisher on the floor below.
  4. Place the extinguisher on the platform with the rope attached and repeat the jumping process to launch it to the second floor.
  5. TIP: Use first person mode when grabbing the fire extinguisher off the ledge above to avoid falling off.
  6. After the fire is put out, leap up to head back outside and start climbing the wire. As the wire starts to break, swing to the left and right to avoid the debris. Continue climbing back up until reaching a large terrace to the right.

24th Floor

  1. Grab the stone ashtray and bash open the door on the left.
  2. TIP: If you forgot how (I did), swing the Right Thumbstick back and forward.
  3. After watching another civilian get sucked in by the magic walls, push the desk to the broken wall and use it to climb up. Edward can't walk through the electrical wires, so grab the ledge on the left and climb up to the child's room. Hit the breaker to turn off the juice.
  4. Grab a wooden chair and use the Right Thumbstick to move it into the flaming area. Using the chair as a light, follow the narrow path in the darkened area quickly as the chair will eventually burn Edward. Leap to the ledge where the security guard is standing.
CUTSCENE: The girl that was just sucked into the floor, Anna, is now being controlled by the evil host in the building. She informs Edward that he used to be a puppet as well.

Questions

Unexpected Meeting

CUTSCENE: Possessed Anna demands a stone from Edward and launches him off the ledge.

  1. Be ready to launch into an attack mode. Rather than pulling Edward's gun and wasting ammo, look for any nearby object to fight off Anna. The ladle and the butcher's knife work well.
  2. When Anna is damaged enough, Edward will need to pick up a wooden object and set it on fire. Only fire can permanently destroy monsters at this point of the game. One swing will set her ablaze.
  3. Climb up the dangling wire in the kitchen area to continue. Be prepared to time a jump to a wooden ledge as a swinging fire hammer keeps getting in the way. Fall down to grab the fire extinguisher and bash open the elevator door.

Reception Hall

CUTSCENE: Edward meets a lady trapped in an elevator named Sara Flores. Edward informs her of his memory loss and Sara's continued screaming attracts some possessed creatures that cause the elevator to plummet.

  1. Take a peek outside the elevator to see what fun awaits you on this floor of the building. After the fracas, lift Sara up out of the elevator and Edward as well. Walk up and hop in the second open elevator.
  2. Pick up the flashlight off the elevator floor and it will be automatically turned on.
  3. TIP: Click A to turn it on and off.
  4. The cop's corpse will contain 30 rounds of ammo. Pick it up and combine it with the gun in the inventory menu. Also rummage through the small room with the burning stairs to find glow sticks and explosive containers.
  5. TIP: Combine the double-sided tape with the explosives to create a sticky bomb.
  6. Turn that flashlight on and draw your pistol before heading down the main hallway. Edward and Sara will be attacked by three freakish spider-looking creatures. Two bullets to the main body will destroy them.
  7. TIP: Their attacks are easy to dodge, just move left or right when they leap.
  8. Head in the security room on the right to pick up mosquito spray, batteries and ammo in the storage locker. Move to the red electrical station to restart the lights in the area.
  9. A possessed man will leap out of the ceiling and attack Sara. Start firing or grab the billy club in the security room to beat him senseless.
  10. TIP: Be careful of his acid spitting technique and dodge left or right when he rears back his head to spit. Just like Anna, use fire to end the fight.
  11. Head to the door and click the number pad next to it. Note the bloody fingerprints on three keys. The combination is 943.

Do I Know You?

CUTSCENE: Edward will be launched from the stairwell by another demon. The demon offers a place in his evil plan, only Edward has to die for it to happen. Edward delivers a lovely negative response.

  1. Kill the demon in the same fashion as the previous monster and head downstairs. Grab the fire extinguisher on the right to put out the hallway fire on the left to proceed.
  2. CUTSCENE: Edward meets Paddington, but doesn't recognize him. Paddington informs him of the memory loss problem and the name of the boss behind the evil event; Crowley.
  3. TIP: If in need of ammo, grab the fire extinguisher to put out a fire in the right rear of the garage. Two boxes are on the ground.
  4. Use Edward's gun or any object to smash open the window of the white car in the lighted area. Hop in and hot wire the car with the Thumbsticks when prompted. Once the car starts, hit Right Trigger for acceleration, Left Trigger for brake and A for handbrake.
  5. Head straight forward to hit a demon and take a left. The floor will collapse, but won't destroy the car. Drive in the same direction to circle around the lot and head upward. Hit the gas hard to make the upcoming jump.
  6. Circle around the lot again, hitting any demon that you would like. Race to the opposite end and through the flames.

Parking

  1. Once out of the car, head to the lighted area to pick up some ammo and a lighter.
  2. TIP: If your pockets are full, drop the batteries to make room.
  3. See the trail of gas leading away from the busted car? Equip that lighter and watch the fireworks. The path should be clear to find a new car.
  4. Move to the end of the parking area to be assaulted with overall creepiness. Spot the taxi through the busted metal door? Set a chair on fire and move it to the nearby beams blocking the doorway on the right.
  5. As the wall crack beast makes his way toward Edward, start running in away from the cracks. Run up and down the parking lot evading the creature. After three passes, it will be distracted by a poor woman just trying to get away.
  6. After the fire goes out, walk through the door and pick up the first aid spray next to the dead woman.
  7. Hop into the cab and crank it up. The key will be in the ignition. Bust through the broken metal door and hang an immediate right through the closed metal grate. Circle around to leave the parking garage.

59th Street

CUTSCENE: Edward, Sara and Paddington are treated to a view of NYC in chaos; buildings are crumbling, cars on fire, people are screaming in the streets. Paddington refers to something called the epicenter and orders Edward to drive to Central Park.

  1. Once the prompt to step on the gas pops up, immediately do so. Otherwise the car will be eaten up by the exploding streets. Hang a left at the first intersection and a right at the next before the road flips the car.
  2. Hit the gas to make the jump over the split in the road. Hang an immediate left and drive into the oncoming traffic. After dodging the giant chunk of building in the road, hit the gas hard to make the second jump.
  3. Continue straight and be sure to either follow the car up the ramp or barrel through the middle to avoid getting stuck. Swerve hard to avoid burning cars and hit the A button for the emergency brake when needed.
  4. The road will start to split and Edward will need to use the elevated portions to stay moving. Hang a left at the grouping of bushes and stay in the middle of the road to avoid flipping the car.
  5. The path winds beside a shop with a yellow & black overhang. Turn left here and attempt to avoid the exploding bus flying overhead. Hang a right at the end of the street and crash through the metal scaffolding on the right.
  6. Hang a right into the glass building and drive up the stairs to crash through the glass. Continue straight and hang a left over some piping. Hit the gas to launch the car into Central Park.
CUTSCENE: The car crashes and Paddington goes a bit nuts. He starts ranting to Edward about the Path of Light, gives Edward his stone necklace and Sara starts to freak out. Paddington draws his gun, tells Edward to meet him at the museum in Room 943 and commits suicide.

Painful Answers

Call 911

CUTSCENE: Paddington is dead and Edward is bleeding badly. Sara and Edward set off to find something to patch him up.

  1. A timer pops up in the lower left hand corner of the screen. Edward has 7 minutes to stop the bleeding.
  2. Walk to the end of the tunnel only to be blocked off by a flaming bus. Walk back to Paddington's body to trigger an ambulance. Boost Sara up to the upper level and she will run for medical supplies.
  3. CUTSCENE: Paddington's phone will ring and Edward hears Crowley on the opposite end. Crowley demands the stone and Edward tells him to go to hell.
  4. Edward can now check Paddington's phone / PDA for objectives, contacts, messages and GPS. Feel free to peruse the phone for a while without worrying about the timer.
  5. Dial 911 and the respondent will inform Edward of first aid kits located in public restrooms. It will be marked on your GPS radar in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
  6. Once the flying monsters appear, don't bother wasting too much ammo. Just start running to the restroom. There are some handkerchiefs and health spray in front of Edward. The first aid kit is in a room to the right. The kit includes health spray and bandages.
  7. Check the message to get instructions on healing yourself or just follow the prompts.
  8. TIP: Swap out your health spray for a new can while near the first aid kit.

Down the Fissure

  1. Aim upward to destroy the electrical cable tie with one bullet. Move into the main bathroom area to note the flying monsters trying to get in and the fragile wall to the left. Use an explosive object to blow open the fragile wall.
  2. TIP: If you don't have an explosive, pick up a bottle of alcohol and a handkerchief in the bathroom to create a Molotov cocktail.
  3. Head outside and leap to the cable on the right. Hit Right Bumper to draw the pistol while on the rope and shoot the flying bats. Shoot the cable tie on the right to fall to the ledge safely below.
  4. Fend off the flying monsters and shoot the glass in the floor. Fall through and pick up the batteries if needed. Fall through a second hole in the floor and pick off the flying freaks feeding on the body ahead.
  5. Follow the precarious path and leap up to grab the ledge of the open bus door.
  6. TIP: Switch to third person mode to see it clearly.
  7. Once inside, be careful not to run to the front of the bus. It will fall into the abyss if you do. Drag bodies to the opposite end of the bus to level it out and leave safely via the front.
  8. TIP: There is an ammo box right outside the door.
  9. Leap down to a large platform nearby and be ready for a fight. The fastest way to kill the five demons that appear is switching to the lighter plus a flammable spray like the mosquito repellent. Douse them with a liberal blast of fire to move on.
  10. Leap down to the next level and grab the first aid spray if needed. Leap up to grab the ledge against the wall and shimmy across the metal piping to the opposite side. Aim upwards to shoot the door lock and free a climbable rope.
  11. At the top, grab hold of the ledge to the right and shimmy around the rock face. Be careful of an impending quick action event when the car begins to topple. Tap A to avoid it.
  12. Hop inside the suspended car and move to the driver's seat to exit. Use the rope to climb up and hit X to rappel into the enclosure. Don't waste ammo on the cocoon. Instead, set it on fire with an explosive or fire spray.
  13. TIP: There are plenty of explosive bottles floating in the water.
  14. Climb the ladder, whip out the flashlight and follow the path to the left.

Filthy Waters

CUTSCENE: Crowley calls and informs Edward that he can help him recover his memories. Crowley also says Edwards has a bloody past.

  1. Follow the tunnel, but stay out of the water. An electrical wire will fall and Edward will need to leap to the left side of the tunnel to disconnect the electricity.
  2. Continue down the tunnel and follow the path to the right. There are a couple spider monsters down at the end, so pick them off from a distance or fire on the explosive spray cans in the water.
  3. Short out the breaker box at the end of the tunnel and head back to take the previously electrified path. In the tunnel ahead, there is an orange & black striped conduit that runs on the right. Grab hold and shimmy across, but be careful to time it correctly to avoid steam burns.
  4. Move into the next room to stock up on sprays, explosive bottles and first aid. Grab any long object, like the wooden oar, and move back to the electrified section. Swing the oar against the loose wire to get it moving. You need to swing it across the jutting pipe or the railing to continue.
  5. A demon will appear, but he's easily beaten with a bit of fire. Leave via the metal door at the end of the tunnel.
  6. In the upcoming hallway, there's a nasty black goo on the floor that sucks up a utility crewman. It hates light, so simply switch to first person and point the flashlight at the floor to slowly walk ahead.
  7. Now Edward is on the opposite side of the gas leak fire stream. Turn off the pipe if you need supplies. Otherwise, continue across the hanging metal walkway. Be wary of the pod spouting endless spider creatures. Burn the pod to stop the flow.
  8. Drag the electrical wire out of the water and turn the red, metal wheel. Move back out, but be careful of more black goo. Use glow sticks and the flashlight to reach the ladder ahead.
  9. Take the advice of the utility guy and fry the flying monsters with some electricity. Move the wire near the fence and kick on the juice.

Stitches and Truth

  1. At the top of the ladder, Edward will be attacked by three demons. There are plenty of explosive items on the ground if needed. After they are dead, keep anything fire related out and start heading to the blinking beacon on the radar.
  2. The park is fairly open for several different routes, but there is a working green car around the right hand edge of the lake. Run past the creepy acid shooting spiders and break into the car.
  3. As Edwards drives around the lake, there are muscle covered demons that jump on the hood of the car and punch Edward. Brake hard to throw them off.
  4. At the location, two demons will pop out and attempt to fight Edward while in the car. The fastest solution is to slam against an object to throw them off, exit the car and fire on the gas tank to watch everything explode.
  5. Grab another set of wheels (there are a couple near the bridge) and clear the area of busted cars. Edwards needs a tremendous amount of momentum to jump the ravine, so back up the car to the rear gate to be assured of a successful landing.
CUTSCENE: Edward makes it to the ambulance and the paramedic treats his wounds. He's also reunited with Sarah. The paramedic pulls a record for an Edward Carnby that indicates that Edward is over 100 years old.

Fight Back and Loss

Ride to the Museum

CUTSCENE: The paramedic sends Edward's personal file to the cell. The ambulance takes off and Sarah / Edward start their trek to the museum.

  1. After checking out the personal file, walk through the covered area and head to the glowing dot on the radar. Once there, hop in the car and take off the museum. Make sure to follow Sarah's directions.
  2. Disgruntled, disfigured birds will be attacking the car along the drive. Drive at high speed to get rid of them or crash into objects. If enough of those nasty suckers latch onto the car, they will fly it up in the air and drop Edward / Sarah to their deaths.
  3. Try to stick to the main road in the park. It's easier to keep an extremely fast speed. Eventually a tree will fall to block the path and the flying creatures will take the car into the giant nest.

The Nest

  1. The nest is very easy to destroy. The object is to throw explosive containers into the belly of the beat and shoot them. There are tons of explosive items lying around the area where Sarah is hiding.
  2. Don't bother with shooting the flying creatures. Just grab an explosive and run up to the pulsating sac at the bottom of the whirlwind of birds. Toss it by hitting Left Trigger and shoot it with Right Trigger.
  3. After four direct hits, the creature will explode and destroy the flying ugly creatures with it.
  4. There are plenty of first aid sprays around the area, so be sure to stock up on health after the fight.
  5. CUTSCENE: Edward is starting to realize that he's intricately involved with creating the evil in the park. Sarah's doing her best to console him and direct him to the right path.
  6. Walk through the muck and to the top of the stairs to hop into another car. CUTSCENE: Edward and Sarah start arguing about their predicament when Edward gets a message from Crowley about the Light Bringer.
  7. Check the GPS to map a route. I advise using the main roads for the majority of the journey, but it should be an enemy free drive for the rest of the way.

The Kidnapping

  1. At the Museum, Edward needs to jump a ravine to get inside. Drive back to the tow truck and pick up the .44 laying next to the dead body. Drive the tow truck up to the ravine, park it and lower the bed to act as a ramp. Shoot the rear locks to lower the back gate.
  2. CUTSCENE: The nasty flying creatures pick up Sarah and carry her off in the direction of the museum. Edward promises to find her.
  3. Hop in a nearby truck and gun it to the ramp. Don't worry about any enemies as they pose no threat to Edward driving over the ravine.

Fight the Living Scar

  1. IMPORTANT: Recall this tip for the inventory section. The gun can be manually reloaded from the inventory screen. It can also be combined with alcohol to create bullets coated in a stream of fire, or "fire bullets." These are vitally important late in the game.
  2. Hop out of the truck and bash open the gate with any object such as the nearby rake. The wall crack monster reappears, so be ready to dodge the cracks or shoot it with fire bullets. If the crack monster grabs Edward, it's possible to become free by following the quick action instance buttons on the screen.
  3. Attempt to head to the broken section of drainpipe straight ahead. You need to leap across the section and head straight to pick up the section of pipe. Swing the pipe against the blinking electrical box to bash it open.
  4. Play with the wires until the wooden lift starts moving. Hop on the lift and hit the green button to go up. At the top floor, break the pane of glass and head in.
  5. TIP: There is a medical supply room to the right if you need bandages or spray.
  6. Deal with the wall crack monster again in the bathroom.
  7. TIP: Aim for the base of the door and shoot a fire bullet at the crack for a quick finish.
  8. Grab the fire extinguisher and head for the bathroom door. Put out the fire in the hallway and Sarah will call you. She's hiding somewhere in the museum.
  9. While walking down the long hallway, two creepy, knife-throwing humanoids will appear behind a wall of fire. Hide behind the wooden tables to avoid getting hit and use an explosive to knock them down. While down, shoot a fire bullet to kill them.
  10. Circle around the hallway and bash the door open with a nearby stone ashtray. Walk into the next room to see Sarah trapped by one of the creatures.

Not Alone Anymore

Bring Her Back

  1. Cut Sarah from the pod and she will fall lifeless from the red sack. Edward starts to revive her. Perform CPR by clicking the thumbsticks together in rhythm and holding the Right Trigger to inflate her lungs.
  2. CUTSCENE: Sarah is revived and thinks that she knows how to kill it. She kisses Edward, but their moment is interrupted by a giant flying creature moving outside overhead.
  3. Search the fridge for alcohol and the cabinet under the sink for spray cans. Grab the propane tank and catch the stream of gas on fire. There will be an onslaught of spider monsters heading Edward's way.
  4. Move back out into the main room to burn all the creatures as well as their nesting area. After the creatures on the ground are all history, look up on the large wall on the far end of the room. A couple creatures will be crawling where Edward needs to fire on a holding pin for an electrical wire.
  5. Climb the loose wire and destroy the spawning pod on the left at the landing. On the right, set the area on fire to burn through the wood barriers. Once the fire dies out, it's safe to pass through.

Museum's visitors

  1. Set the pods on fire to move through the next section. Several spider creatures will come around the corner, but are easily dispatched with a bullet each from the 44. Edward will need to pull the dead body out of the way to open the gate.
  2. Edward will come across an entire room filled with those spawn pods in a mini-cutscene. The easiest way to light the room on fire is to walk around to the break room area and toss a Molotov cocktail over the wall. Once the room is ablaze, the gate to the next area will open.
  3. Notice in the pod in the newly gated hallway? A creature keeps bringing blood back and forth between it and your side of the gate. Attach a sticky, lighted Molotov cocktail to its back and watch it explode when reaching the pod.
  4. The following room contains a variety of five or six humanoid enemies. Take out the first two with a couple rounds of fire bullets before entering into the light. The following four just require a bit of accuracy and a couple magazines of fire bullets.
  5. TIP: Don't waste your time lighting a chair on fire. The biggest humanoid has a giant tongue that knocks out anything on fire from your hand.
  6. After they are all disposed of, head up the dark staircase on the left of the room. Three more humanoids will jump you. Just back into the previous hall and use the same fire bullet strategy as before.
  7. At the top of the stairs, a security guard on the right side will call out. After a short conversation, he informs Edward of the location of room 943. Continue down the hall to run through some black goo. Use the flashlight as before to pass through.
  8. TIP: Jump at the very end of the black goo to the step, otherwise you are a goner.
  9. Chat with the security guard at the gate about room 943. He will open the small gate for Edward. Take the elevator down, but be ready to disembark when all hell breaks loose outside. This would be a good time to make bombs, reload fire ammo and cure what ails ya...

The Huge One

CUTSCENE: Edward spots an incredibly enormous spider monster and it seems to be pissed off that Edward has been killing its smaller brethren. Edward has a moment

  1. This is a tough fight at first. Head to the concrete emplacement of the left for a moment and try to pick off one of his shoulder armor pieces. The laser sight should automatically hone into it.
  2. Once he is sufficiently pissed, he will roar and the entire room will start charging up. Run as quickly as possible to a nearby white safe zone near any pillar. The room with turn into a giant tornado and Edward will shield his face.
  3. Repeat this process five times to end the fight. Use fire bullets at the start of the fight and move to sticky Molotov cocktails towards the end. Extra packs / bottles are located in the corners of the room.
  4. TIP: Use the stone pillars to hide from his slicing knives attack and listen to their timing. Once he stops throwing knives, there's a 5 second recharge period for Edward to fire or toss a sticky bomb.

One Step from the Truth

CUTSCENE: Sarah rejoins Edward in the room where he just fought the giant spider monster. They are confident that room 953 is close.

  1. Grab anything missed in the large room and head to the security gate. It won't open without the handprint of a security guard. Shoot the sword holder next to the gate and pick up the sword to hack off the nearby dead guard's arm.
  2. Head through the gate and to the left into a break room. Check out the two metal lockers on the left for ammo, batteries, handkerchiefs and booze.
  3. Walk down the hall to unlock a floor hatch and shoot the rope holder to allow the rope to drop. Grab onto the rope and rappel down to the gate. Press RB to take out the gun and shoot the lock.
  4. Head to the left, but be prepared for two humanoids to jump Edward & Sarah. They crawl out of the ground at the end of the tunnel.
  5. TIP: There's a sledgehammer in a little room to the left if you prefer knocking them out first.
  6. Use the propane tank at the end of the tunnel to blow open the metal door and take the ladder down to the entrance to room 943.

The Truth

Room 943

CUTSCENE: Edward & Sarah find room 943. It looks like an abandoned shack. As they start to look through Paddington's possessions, the room catches on fire and traps both of them inside.

  1. As the room goes off the deep end, Edward and Sarah start freaking out. When Sarah tells you to go check it out, close your eyes by clicking the "Right Thumbstick" The ghost of Paddington will be pointing out the way.
  2. Continue walking around the room checking where Paddington keeps pointing. The sequence is the newspaper, the record player, the plaque and the bottle. Eventually Sarah will hit Edward on the head so Paddington can have a chat with Edward in another plane of existence.
  3. CUTSCENE: Paddington tells Edward a tale of the Philosopher's stone, an object that can change the entire course of reality. Paddington released Lucifer, who is seeking the stone to unbend existence. Edward needs to keep the stone from Lucifer and protect reality.
  4. Close those eyes again to see a blinding light coming from behind the stone wall in the closet. Stand and watch as Paddington opens the door for you.
  5. CUTSCENE: Sarah and Edward make it into the hidden chamber. It's a giant circular stone room. Sarah notices a lens and a disk on a nearby landing.
  6. After reading the emails, drop something from inventory and grab the lens. Take it back outside the room and use the lens / flashlight combo on the red marking in room 943. A door will open.

An Ancient Path

CUTSCENE: Sarah is staying behind handle the giant screw room. Edward is moving through the tunnel to find the ancient castle.

  1. Walk through the entire tunnel and immediately shoot the spawning pods on the opposite side of the room with some fire bullets to avoid lengthy battles with the poison shooting spiders.
  2. Hop in the nearby forklift, drive it to the basin of the creek and move the bridge up to walking level. The bridge becomes locked in place, so drive the forklift over the metal bridge and into the next room.
  3. In the following room, hang a left and drive the forklift to the end of the room on the right side. The objective is to turn the forklift facing the pile of wooden rubble and lift it up. The pile acts as a makeshift bridge.
  4. Once it's raised, leave the forklift in place and go hit the switch next to the torch. It pushed a wooden block out to support the raised bridge. Be ready to fight off a demon after the switch. Grab a nearby object, like the sledgehammer, and knock it out before lighting it up.
  5. Hop back in the forklift and drive it up the newly created bridge to move the crates in the way. Once inside, check the locker on the right for ammo and booze.
  6. TIP: Before walking into the main room, shoot the spawn pod with a fire bullet on the upper landing to the left before the mini-cutscene.
  7. Shoot the spawn pod on the opposite end of the room as well. Use the forklift to move 3 boxes from the right side to the left. Stack them in a staircase pattern to get Edward up to the upper level with the broken ladder.
  8. Flip the switch and the metal floor will raise. Head back down and Edward can drive across. On the opposite site, flip the switch next to the metal rolling door and use the forklift to raise it the remainder of the way.
  9. Follow the passageway to the end and take the lift up. Flip the switch again and Edward will be back outside in the park.

Light from the Sky

CUTSCENE: Edward falls into a pit of black goo and Crowley calls. Crowley is in a chopper hovering above Edward. He offers Edward safe passage from the pit in exchange for the philosopher's stone.

  1. After the fire goes out, follow the light shining from Crowley's helicopter around the pit. Try to stay in the middle as it flickers occasionally. It only takes a couple walks around the pit to trigger the next scene.
  2. TIP: Stay in 3rd person mode and hit A to run occasionally if you are having trouble.
CUTSCENE: Edward eventually takes the rope and Crowley demands the stone at gunpoint. He claims that ownership of the stone was his birthright. Edward hangs it out of the helicopter and demands answers. At this point, Lucifer's giant flaying beast attacks the helicopter and sends it flying to the ground.

The Path of Light

Hang on!

  1. Edward is hanging onto the rope used to climb into the helicopter on a precarious cliff side. As Edward climbs, debris will fall from the top. Carefully swing left or right to avoid the debris.
  2. As he climbs to the halfway point, the helicopter will start to slide out and ignite the leaking gas trail. Once the helicopter turns vertically, climb up and use the rope to swing onto the subway car balanced on the cliff side.
  3. TIP: Press B to jump from the rope.
  4. Hop into the bus and Sarah will send you a message about the screw room charging up with energy. As Edward moves forward, the bus will tip vertically and a rope will fall. Grab the rope and start climbing. Be wary of poison spitting spider creatures climbing down the rope.
  5. After killing 6 of those spiders, the subway car will plummet leaving Edward clutching the rope. Climb up to enter another subway car and walk through it to enter a subway tunnel.

Subway Station

  1. Edward will see a couple people trapped on a subway car to the left and four humanoids will spew from the ground. Kill all four and that will trigger an onslaught of humanoid baddies to emerge.
  2. TIP: The best strategy for this portion is to move to the newly broken bathroom door in the subway station as soon at the first four are dead. Kill the female humanoid and poison spider and grab a ton of exploding bottles to take care off the rest.
  3. TIP: To take out the knife throwing humanoid, patiently wait for it to come to Edward in the bathroom. There is plenty of time to make sticky trap bombs and or reload several clips of fire ammo.
  4. Once the knife thrower is dead, Edward can go to the people on the subway car. Pop to the two poison spitting spiders to the right and head over to the car. The passenger will want to climb to the roof.
  5. Giant tentacles will grip the subway car. Wait as it repositioned the car and pick up the two ammo boxes in the back if needed. Shoot all the spiders off the nearby blood soaked ropes and jump from the car to the first rope.
  6. Swing left and right to jump to the second rope. Climb up and walk through the belly of the beast to find Edward back outside in Central Park.

Reach the Old Castle

  1. Edward receives a couple texts about the park from Sarah. Read them and move towards the nearest car, a police car to the left. Check the GPS to see where Edward needs to go, hotwire it and take off.
  2. While in route to the castle, Sarah will send Edward an important message about finding twisted roots. The roots are connected to Lucifer and need to be burned in order to strengthen Edward and weaken Lucifer.
  3. TIP: The roots of evil are located in the static symbols on your radar. Feel free to drive around burning the roots. An explosive bottle / bullet combo works very well.
  4. Otherwise, drive directly to the route marker. There should be little to no enemy resistance along the way.

The Eye of Central Park

  1. At the castle entrance, there are plenty of booze bottles lying around if you need to restock. Be ready for the wall crack monster to appear on the first landing. One fire bullet into the crack takes care of business.
  2. The door to the castle is locked, but one bullet to the lock will take care of it. A fire bullet will make the door fall completely apart.
  3. There will be plenty of ammo sitting in the locker and waiting area of the first room.
  4. At this point in the game, you will have to destroy 10 roots to continue on. Here are the ones that I used:

Burning Roots Part 1

TIP: Any time that Edward dies during this process, he will be sent back to the castle. Any root that has been burned will still be counted. It may be quicker to kill yourself and revert to the castle for ammo purposes.
TIP: If you have trouble finding a root in the target zone, close the eyes (click Right Thumbstick) and the root will be glowing white.
TIP: There are several different sizes of roots and each offer different amounts of Spectral Points. Use larger explosives for the giant roots.
TIP: Always try to approach roots from an elevated position. It's easier to perform a stealthy strike, avoid enemy patrols and save on ammo.
  1. The first was next to the old castle in an amphitheater. There are two humanoids guarding it, but Edward only needs to kill one to get close enough to the root.
  2. Head back out to the main road to the north and drive east on the main road to the root on the island portion of the park. Eventually the road will seem blocked, but a path to the right will work. At the root, attach a sticky bottle to the spiders on the rope and shoot it at the top.
  3. The third root is further east. Drive at high speed down the road and launch your car off the ramp to the right. It will skyrocket another burning car to the root.
  4. Drive all the way around the black gorge to hit the next root. It's sitting on the southeast corner of the gorge. Approach from the right of the root to sneak around the fence and firebomb the giant root from behind.
  5. From this point, head to the trio of roots on the left side of the main lake and go to the upper left one. Four Humanoids are guarding the root on the tennis courts. To conserve ammo, just run up to burn the root and run away from the humanoids. You also need to be able to take a hit or two.
  6. Head west along on the lower main road. Edward will come across two small roots in a public restroom. Toss one Molotov over the fence near the restroom side. The other will have to be reached through the kitchen. Two fire bullets for each humanoid will kill them.
  7. TIP: The restroom & kitchen contains ammo.
  8. Continue west and start with the top of the three spots on the left of the map. There are nests of spider spitting creatures in the vicinity. Either shoot with fire bullets or avoid them completely long enough to fire bomb the small root in the pavilion on the right.
  9. Head directly south to destroy the small root growing inside the house. There are no enemies in this section.
  10. Head south into the gated section and walk downstairs to find a nest of spider creatures and the first of three roots. There is also plenty of ammo and supplies in the basement. Take the elevator upstairs to kill a wall crack monster.
  11. TIP: Step back in the elevator to avoid capture. The 2nd small root in this section is to the room on the right and the 3rd small root is a room on the left.
  12. TIP: There's a rope to repel down outside one of the offices on a balcony.

Back to The Eye of Central Park

  1. Eventually, Sarah will send you a message to go look for symbols in the castle area once Edward hits 30 on the spectral meter. (I had 36 at this point)
  2. Walk around the outside of the castle to find the symbols. There are 6 in total; one behind the painting inside the waiting room, one in the connecting room with the sludge, one just outside the entrance, one on the right side of the building, one along in the back staircase and one in the gazebo area out front.
  3. Use the flashlight to shine the symbol on the white glowing areas. It will unlock the elevator to the tower. Be wary of a couple humanoids that pop up as well as the black goo. Use the nearby glow sticks to light a path through the goo; thrown fire objects work just as well.
  4. CUTSCENE: Sarah will call once all the symbols are activated and warn of the possibility that the Light Bringer is dangerous.
  5. After the scene, Edward will be tossed immediately into a fight with a knife throwing humanoid. Use fire bullets and explosives to kill it. Also use your vision to see its weak spots.
  6. After the fight, put out the fire with the nearby extinguisher and head upstairs to take the elevator up. In the tower, use the telescope to look at the Moon and summon the light bringer.

The Light Bringer

Evil Roots

  1. Edward is still in the tower, but now has a new beacon on the map. Additionally, there are several new roots to destroy. Before making your way to the beacon, Edward has to destroy enough roots to reach 75 in Spectral Power. So stock up some supplies and head out for more root burning!

Burning Roots Part 2

TIP: Instead of starting back at the castle, each time Edward dies the reload will be at the last root.
  1. Head directly north from the castle to hit the first small root. It's next to a lamppost in the grass.
  2. Hop in the nearby police car and drive to the nearby static symbol to the north. It's on the coastline and it's a medium sized root sitting in the middle of a children's playground.
  3. Drive south to see a small root in a clearing with two or three humanoids in the distance. Sneak up behind it to burn the root. Head back to the castle to resupply if needed.
  4. From the castle, drive south to burn the small root off the main road. It's unguarded next to a monument.
  5. Drive west over the chasm and head toward the static symbol on the lower coastline. The medium sized root is in the center of a giant pond surrounded by one knife throwing humanoid. Snipe him with some fire bullets and burn the plant.
  6. TIP: There are booze bottles lying around the pond if needed.
  7. Back on the main road, head northwest to the next static symbol. The large root is in a tan amphitheater guarded by a knife thrower. This root should bump Edward above 50 spectral points.
  8. Head directly west to the next root. It's growing in the middle of a circular grassy section surrounded by benches.
  9. Move northwest for the next root. There are plenty of poison spiders lurking, so be quick in this section. The root is in a picnic area between two sets of benches.
  10. Southwest for the next root. It's a giant root in the middle of a crevice. There are two ways to go about this one. The hard way is driving your car off the nearby ramp and jumping out before it launches into the root. Edward would then shoot the gas tank. The easy way is to carefully walk on a lighted metal lamppost in the northeast corner and toss your explosive object from the end.
  11. Head northwest to the next root; you may need to backtrack for a car. It's just of the main road to the left. It's on top of a hill surrounded by a couple of humanoids. If you are quick, the humanoids will never see you.
  12. Drive to the far northwest corner of the island; using the main road of course and approaching from the left side road. In the littler green enclosure, there is a blood bag. Grab it and head for the statue. Throw the blood bag and shoot it to distract the vampire bats creatures. While they are sucking up the blood, throw an explosive bottle at the base of the root and fire.
  13. Head for the only static symbol left west of the nearby lake. Take the main road east and a bit south. The only way to get to the root is via a ramp marked by three burning fires. Launch the car on the ramp and destroy the medium sized root.
  14. Time to head back over the lake. Take the main road to the north and head eastward. The nearest place to cross over the lake is a tiny white footbridge to the north. The static symbols look like a snake.
  15. After crossing the bridge, run to the southwest for the first root on top of a hill. It's guarded by a couple humanoids, so be quick and careful.
  16. TIP: At this point, you should have at least 75 Spectral points. You can continue the story or look for the rest of the roots.
  17. Head directly west for the next root. It's on a riverbank next to a broken bridge.
  18. Follow the trail for the next three static symbols to the east. One is in a water filled grotto, the next under a bridge and the last in a clearing.
  19. Head back over the white bridge to the north or jump the ravine in a nearby car to the south. Stop off for supplies at the castle if needed.
  20. Drive to the lowest main road and burn the root just off the highway. It's surrounded by vampire bats, so use the blood from the nearby overturned ambulance to distract them.
  21. Continue east and take the north route to the next root. It's hidden behind a broken rock wall.
  22. Take the eastern approach to the root in the middle of the large lake. It's unguarded and hanging off the in the water to the left.

Back to Evil Roots

  1. Get back to the main road and take it all the way to the GPS route marker.
  2. After getting to 75% or above in the spectral points, Edward has the ability to toss a Molotov cocktail over the barrier. This can be frustrating, but aiming at the red root on the right side of the tree is the easiest way to gain entry. There are several bottles of alcohol and plenty of handkerchiefs to create the bombs.
  3. CUTSCENE: The tree creature writhes in pain as Edward looks on.
  4. Head into the stone doorway and use blink vision to find the symbol. Shine the flashlight plus lens on the symbol and the floor will split open.
  5. Shoot the ring on the flagpole in the middle of the room to lower the rope. The rope can be used to lower Edward into the pit. At the bottom of the rope, hit B to fall safely below.
  6. Drop off the ledge to hang onto the side. Head in the direction on the torch to reach the opposite rock face with the rope on the ground. Grab the rope to repel to the floor.
  7. CUTSCENE: Sarah calls and informs Edward of a second medallion. Edward thinks it's the key he is looking for in these caves.

Find the Key

TIP: In this section, move slowly through the area. There are tons of precarious ledges to fall from.

  1. At the end of the narrow passageway, the room will light up.
  2. TIP: Save your flashlight battery as the torches light up on the path as you walk through.
  3. Take the walkway down to the lift and shine the flashlight symbol on the side of the lift to start moving. At the next room, use the board with the symbol inscribed on it to block the path of the light and open the door.
  4. Take the rope down the passageway and walk into the next puzzle room. It's a bit trickier. Move the box into the light to watch the progression of the moving stones. See the large flat stone that's closest to the floor and moves out last? Move the box into the light in front of that stone, release and run to the main platform. The box will be pushed out of the way and Edward goes up.
  5. Once outside, slide down the nearby rope and leap to the right ledge. On the opposite side of the ledge, jump to a hanging rope and repeat the rope jump to the left after sliding down. Drop at the bottom of the second rope.
  6. Welcome to the spiky room of painful death! (Just kidding.) Grab the wooden plank to the left and the room will be set on fire. The key in this situation is to watch the timing on the spikes and block the streams of light with the plank. The correct order is block right, block left, block right.
  7. In the following room, the small platform will start moving forward as soon as Edward lifts the plank. Block the stream of light along the way to avoid death by four swinging stone hammers.
  8. Grab the rope, repel down quickly and jump to the ledge on the left. If you have fire bullets, shoot the debris inside the tunnel. Otherwise light a piece of wood on fire with the nearby torch.
  9. The walls close in on this next room, so be quick. Push the unlit torch to the opposite symbol and watch as the fire comes alive. Move it back to the previous symbol to stop the walls from moving. Grab a piece of wood, climb the stairs and light the torch stand. Run to the opposite end of the room and wait to be lifted.
  10. Slide down both ropes and drop into the next room. The ceiling starts to fall and Edward has to run across a narrow maze in the dark to finish. Grab the plank and light it up. The turns are as follows: Right, Left, Left, Right, Right, Right, Left, Right, Left, Left, and Right.
  11. TIP: Use the plank to slow the ceiling. Just move it into the streams of light as Edward walks the maze.
  12. Run down the stone walkway and into the key room. Grab a torch to burn the wood holding up the stone object. While you wait, grab a torch to read the writing in the next room.
  13. Figured out the riddle yet? Watch the direction the fire moves as you walk down the hallway. The wind will be pulling it in a certain direction. Go back to grab the stone and bash that section of the wall.

The Final Gate

CUTSCENE: Edwards meets a half dead guy named Hermes. Hermes split the Philosopher's Stone in two and locked himself in the tomb to protect the world from the power of the combined stone. Hermes then informs Edward that the world's fate rests on his shoulders.
  1. Time to find a car and take crazy man Hermes out of there. Check the map for a blinking GPS dot and head that way.
  2. CUTSCENE: Sarah calls about rebuilding 943 and countdown has started. Edwards has to double-time it back to the museum otherwise it's all over.
  3. You have 1 minute to reach the green truck on the main road. Hold down A to run and head to the marker.
  4. CUTSCENE: Poor Hermes thinks Sarah's soul is trapped in the cell phone. Sarah informs Edward that he's minutes away from disaster for the entire human race.
  5. After in the truck, you may get to the GPS route marker in any number of ways. I recommend hitting the southern road as soon as possible. Don't worry about the timer as it's much like a checkpoint race, but with invisible checkpoints.
  6. About 30 seconds into the ride, giant branches will shoot out of the road ahead. Be ready to dodge quickly with the handbrake. They also provide the occasional jump.
  7. Very near the museum, Edward will need to send the truck over a ravine marked by two streams of fire. Make the jump, otherwise it's restart time.
  8. Roll through the parking garage, race inside and shoot the latch at the bottom of the gate that says 943.

Choose for All

CUTSCENE: Crowley is still alive and has a gun pointed at Sarah's head. Crowley still wants the key and will trade her life for it.
  1. Line up a shot on Crowley's head and wait until Sarah moves her head forward to take the shot. Then follow Hermes to the giant screw room.
CUTSCENE: Hermes will line up his body to activate the symbols on the wall. The entire room will recreate itself and reveal a door. After following Hermes, he will walk into the temple. Hermes claims that this is Lucifer's door into Edward's reality. The stone is activated and starts to open the door. Once the 9 gates are lit, Lucifer will be reincarnated.
  1. Edward needs to take the stone to face Lucifer. Sarah takes the stone from Edward to protect him. As Sarah feels the pain of the light bringer, Hermes tells Edward that he must choose between letting her live or killing her.
CUTSCENE: If you choose to let Sarah live, she will say her goodbye to Edward before she's possessed by the Light Bringer, a.k.a Lucifer, and Edward loses his disaster-buddy, girlfriend forever.

CUTSCENE: If you choose to kill Sarah, she falls with the key into oblivion. Edward is possessed by Lucifer and uses his new found power to levitate poor, blind Hermes into the 9 gates of hell.

  9. The Path of Darkness: Kill Sarah.
  10. The Path of Light: Don't Kill Sarah.

Achievement Tips

 WARNINGWARNING: Don't attempt to load sequences for achievement purposes while in the middle of your first playthrough. The game will automatically save over your progress.
After following the walkthrough, you should already be in the neighborhood of 700 to 800 gamerscore points without even worrying about gaining achievements. Here are a few tips for the ones that could have been easily missed:
  1. Path of Darkness, Path of Light: Just reload the final sequence of the final episode to choose the opposite ending. It takes about 5 minutes.
  2. The Blind Man: Replay the opening sequence to knock out this one. I didn't even think of not blinking at that point.
  3. Never Leave a Key Here: You will never find a key in the visor in a police car or taxi. Only search visors in the civilian cars. I found mine in a blue two-door car to the left of the large lake.
  4. Unlimited Offer: Load up a sequence late in the game and start dialing everyone.
  5. Demolition Expert: Tape an explosive bottle together with a box of ammo.
  6. Nuke: A great sequence for killing 3 Humanoids at once is Subway Station. Provided you have an explosive, a box of ammo and tape, create the powerful bomb and position yourself to bunch the first 4 attackers together; next to the stairs for instance.
  7. Fisherman's Foe: I found a goldfish at the end of Down the Fissure. It was swimming in the shallow water underneath the very first hanging pod Edward sets on fire.
  8. Handyman Carnby: Quite possibly the biggest waste of time in the game. There are over 50 different item combinations to create to get this 30-point achievement. You will need to carry tape at all times and collect typically useless items like glow sticks or emergency flares. Remember to combine completely empty bottles with items as well. The Nest in Episode 4 is a great place to work on this achievement. There are tons of items to combine lying around on the ground.
  9. Cockpit Addict: Memorize all the turns before trying this out. 59th Street is hectic enough as it is.
