Alexa Rodriguez

On April 3, 2008, Alexa Rodriguez, a 13 year old girl who was touring the famed Fenway Park in Boston, was attacked by a red-tailed hawk. The Hawk used it's talons to scratch the scalp of the young girl, and apparently drew blood. But the girl was not seriously injured.

Some people have found humor, and irony in the fact that her name bears a close resemblance to Boston Red Sox hated rival Alex Rodriguez of the New York Yankees.

The Hawk was apparently protecting a nearby egg. At the recommendation of state wildlife officials and for the safety of future patrons the egg was removed. Fast Facts:

7. The young lady was shaken but is said to be "OK"
