Singer-songwriter Alexa Ray Joel is the daughter of musician Billy Joel and model Christie Brinkley. Trained as a classical pianist, Joel began writing songs at an early age. She released her debut EP Sketches in 2006. Aside from her famous father, Joel cites Randy Newman and Ray Charles as major musical influences.¹
