Alan Tudyk
Alan Tudyk is an American actor who is known for his versatility in combining comedic and dramatic elements into his characters. Although he has played supporting roles in several films and TV shows, he was first widely known for playing Wash on the short-lived sci-fi television show Firefly.

Early Life and Career
Born in El Paso, Texas but raised in Plano, Tudyk started off studying drama at Lon Morris Junior College between 1990 and 1991. He would continue his studies at Julliard in 1993, but leave the program before earning his degree. He made his big screen debut in 1997's 35 Miles from Normal. He then played supporting roles in various films and TV shows including Ice Age and Frasier until starting his popular role on Joss Whedon's Firefly series in 2002
