Akoha, a website dedicated to interactive "play," includes some social networking features alongside multiplayer games and other forms of community organization. It has been suggested that some of the interactive "games" may benefit charity.¹ The company launched at the TechCrunch50 conference in September of 2008 while still in private beta.
