- On March 4, 2008, a settlement in a class-action lawsuit was reached concerning Airborne, a nutritional supplement company, and a group of consumer advocate organizations. The lawsuit stated that the tablets do not prevent colds (as the company claims in advertising campaigns), but are standard run-of-the-mill vitamins. The judgment calls for a $23.3 million refund to customers.
