Adam Kokesh
Iraq War veteran and Iraq Veterans Against the War (IVAW) member Adam Kokesh protested during John McCain's acceptance speech at the 2008 Republican National Convention. During McCain's speech, Kokesh brandished a sign that read "McCain Votes Against Vets" and shouted, "Ask him why he votes against vets!" Kokesh was handcuffed, escorted out of the convention and questioned by security, but no charges were filed against him.1
