30 Rock
NBC's award winning Sitcom 30 Rock details the behind the scenes antics of the cast and crew of fictional sketch comedy series "TGS with Tracy Jordan."
Tina Fey stars as Liz Lemon, the head writer of the show, struggling to appease interfering network executive Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin) and cater to the ego of the show's unpredictable star played by Tracy Morgan.
Fey created the show based on her experience working as a head writer for Saturday Night Live. Fey is also the head writer and executive producer of 30 Rock, and was not originally set to star in the show, but accepted the role at NBC's insistence.
