Danny Boyle, director of 28 Days Later and producer of the sequel 28 Weeks Later, has signed on to create another addition to the zombie film franchise. It is scheduled for a 2009 release date and will pick up where 28 Weeks Later left off. An interview with Boyle uncovered that that third installment will center on Russia, rather than France where the infection was hinted to have spread.¹
